Thandwefika

Project delivery | Storytelling | Africa.

I am Thandwefika Tshabalala. I run complex projects for a living, tell stories for the love of it, and build things in between.
My name means “loved on arrival”. This site is where all my hats hang.

The delivery discipline I sell by day, rebuilt AI-first: agents carry the admin, people keep the judgement, and every win and failure gets written down in public.

Keynotes and facilitation on AI adoption and the AI-first journey, plus storytelling as a leadership skill, carried by a decade of stages and the 2019 Southern Africa championship.

Essays, journal entries, reviews and travel tales collected across Africa, from 3am food runs in Joburg to chasing sunrises down the highway. Everyone needs a little personality.

The builder’s ledger: a storytelling movement, a travel club, a township restaurant, an investment club, and the consultancy that funds it all. Listed honestly, with what each one taught me.

What I am busy with

Right Now

Right now I am rebuilding my firm, DBiLL, into an AI-first business and documenting the journey in public. Mondays I coach AI adoption inside a large insurer. The rest of the week I deliver projects and write about what breaks and what works.
